SlickRunClick on image to enlarge For those of you who are familiar with Apple's OS X, QuickSilver is a useful free add-on which can be used to launch programmes without physically having to find the relevant icon or file in the hard disk. Well, SlickRun tries to do the same for Windows. Once installed, SlickRun appears as a free floating command line utility on your desktop, and it is a matter of a few clicks with your mouse to add programmes and websites to the SlickRun library through the use of what are called "MagicWords" (of your choice). If you are someone who hates having hundreds of icons on your desktop, you will love SlickRun. Try it. Available from http://www.bayden.com/Slickrun/ |
