If you don't want to go the whole hog and transform you Windows interface with FlyakiteOSX to make you PC look and behave like an Apple (see FlyakiteOSX), you may still appreciate RocketDock. Apple OS X and FlyakiteOSX include an animated application launcher (ObjectDock), and RocketDock does a similar job. It is custamizable so you can make it look and behave exactly as you want. The beauty of programs such as RocketDock is that you can use it to launch your favourite programs rather than having the shortcuts on the Desktop; cluttering up your Desktop with numerous shortcuts only slows down your PC.
